Addressing the Concluding Session as Guest of Honour, Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Muhammad Zahid Mahmood said the international moot would help create awareness among all segments of society, particularly practitioners about the seriousness of the security environment, both at the global as well as regional level.

This was the key message of eminent intellectuals at the sessions of Global Strategic Threat and Response Conference on ‘Evolving Global Order: Challenges and Opportunities’ organised by the Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS) in Islamabad.
The inaugural ceremony of a two-day flagship international conference titled ‘Global Strategic Threat and Response’ (GSTAR) arranged by Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS) was held at Air Headquarters, Islamabad today. Dr Arif Alvi, President Islamic Republic of Pakistan was the Chief Guest at the occasion.
The aim of GSTAR is to explore pressing challenges emerging from the global strategic environment and technological developments impacting national security and providing inputs on future counterstrategies, especially in the aerospace sector.
